Testing a cases stock cooling

some cases have fans and temperature probes, i was wondering how you test the stock cooling.

just make sure all of the fans run is pretty much it. on thermally controlled fans you can grip the temperature probe between your fingers to heat it up and the fan will speed up.

if you REALLY wanna know just how the flow of air moves through the case you can put a fog machine infront of the intake

ok but my point is HOW do i get the fans up and running with out having to put everything together (i want to test everything before hand)

 

like in the videos of the case reviews 3d game man doesnt really put everything together, he powers it up some how. HOW?!?!?!

put in the power supply and hook up all of the fans, then grab your 24 pin motherboard plug and stick a paper clip into the green wire and one of the black wires and this will turn the power supply on (no this will not shock you, its perfectly safe)

thanks i just tested the NZXT hades temperature probes. top one corresponds to HDD middle one corresponds to CPU and the bottom one corresponds to the SYS temperature probe
