I tried this one way, now I'll try another, I would really appreciate Rodney's input on this as I trust him explicitly.
If you have an older gaming rig built on the 775 platform (example: Asus Rampage Extreme), should you or can you upgrade to PCIe 3.0 GPU's, knowing that the PCIe 2.0 on the motherboard will cause some bottleneck (example: from 2xHD4870's to 1 or 2 HD7970's or HD7990's) and if not, what would you recommend as the best GPU for such an old platform? price not being an issue, just expanding the life of an older platform that has been great.
