Hello Rodney, you probably get this all the time, but i was wondering what is the proper way to ground yourself using an anti-static bracelet. I have heard some people say to plug in your PSU and then attach to a metal part of your chassis, but others have said this is crazy. I am going to build my first system soon and was wanting to be very safe, so if you could supply any newbie tips it would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, so make sure the PSU is plugged, got it. So next question, in your opinion where would the best place to put a computer together be at, in the floor or on a desk?
A video on this has also been done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7fxNtoqzNY
thats not about building the case thats about where to run the computer
i say build it on the desk
less static and less back breaking. if you build it on the floor you better go to the chiropractic afterwards
Ok, thanks for the reply!
