I'm preparing to go Raid 0 with two Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB HDD.
Will a "normal" disc image backup work for restoring a failed drive or corrupted data?
I use three different solutions Acronis True Image, Norton Ghost and Windows Backup & Restore (Windows 7)
The Raid 0 will only consist of programs, games, docs, music, pictures, etc. I will have a separate 30GB SSD as my OS/Boot drive. Will this hinder any of the backup solutions I listed?
I've never built or restored a RAID before so I'm guessing if I need to restore my data or a disk fails I would have to re-setup the raid 0 and the ssd then go about the restoration process for whichever backup solution I decide to restore from?
Yes a system image would be fine but you might also want to consider backing up individual files.

Ok and I already backup individual critical files and folders for easy restore and as another layer of fault tolerance.
Thanks for the feedback!
