I was told 4 x 256 meg HD's Raid 0 = Total storage = 256. I thought Raid 0 increased the amount of memory, thus what storage will 4 x 256 meg HD's have in Raid 0? Thank you.

Thank you, I was told it totaled 256 mb, so I decided to come here and get the low down. Glad to find out it totals 1 terabyte.

Ya... 1TB total in RAID0. What drives are you going to use?

WOW... What a setup, I take it you have a fast RAID controller to handle the throughput?

The crazy but true thing about this is... A while back, got interested in a computer that would run FSX. Did a lot of research on what is what. In seeking the reviews found 3dGameMan the BEST AKA R. Reynolds cite for knowledge. You your self encouraged me to build my own computer. You have the very best of the best reviews. Watching your reviews on SSD and Raid etc, I decide to do just that. So, I started buying parts. Some new, some used. So far, Notua CPU cooler, Coolermaster HAF 922 Case, 2 x 120mm Noctua fans for the side of the case. Corsair HX 750 power supply, and the 4 SSD drives. Waiting on benches and pricing for the i7 930 CPU, and what is what with NVidia's new cards. So my build is stalled. Not in any rush, as the computer is for flight simming, as I am a bit too busy to sim at present. I appreciate the high quality of your reviews as it inspired me to do this project. With that being said, any idea what a good raid card would be, as I will be running Win 7? 3dGameMan is my all time favorite as I have learned a great deal about what is what. You are doing a fantastic job with your highly polished, entertaining, straight forward enjoyable top notch reviews. I have been in business for decades and appreciate quality when I see it. In brief you should be commended with your achievements in bringing us viewers super fine information. For that I Thank you.
