Hi Rod ..
Wich software do you use for webpage building and editing ?
Can you recommend any low budget software for webpage building ?
Whats the great difference between PhP, asp.net and worldpress ?
How do you set up a webserver om your own PC for testing webpages ?
Were should I go to learn more about webbuilding?
If I would like my own webserver, what hard / software would I need ?
Im kinda into music, and want to build a music / fan site - with a forum, and sharing
of non copyright music. With each member of the sith have there own page for sharing news and so on.
Hope to get a Rod awnser on this one, cause somehow you mannage to explain
things, so its easy to understand.
Kind Regards

For my websites I use a CMS, (content management system) and Hostmonster.com for Hosting. Wordpress is great for beginners and there are others available like Drupal (3dGameMan.com is built with this).
I build my design with HTML and CSS (coding you may want to learn, free tutorials are available)
To start off with, try wordpress.com build yourself a blog and get used to the format. It's free and it's the experience that matters.
Once your ready, buy yourself a hosting package and go professional with your own .com. Don't get your own server as they cost a lot to maintain and what you want to build can easily be achieved using Hostmonster and Wordpress.org software.
I forgot to mention, PHP is the code that Wordpress is build on. Wordpress is an open-source way to manage your website's pages, blog posts, rss and more. Wordpress needs to be installed on your server and like I said before, don't buy your own, buy your web space online like Hostmonter, Bluehost etc.
