Well it might be a silly question but I want to understand something..

Now when the Eyefinity 6 models from ATI partners are ready, are they going to be replacing the "older" or "outdated" hd5000 series cards with Eyefinity 3?

And how is the quality of the new cards with 6 connection stock up against the cards with three connection in terms of quality of image per one screen only?

Isn't it better to get the Eyefinity 3 cards if you are only going to use one screen?

Any answers?

the 5870 six isnt really new and it doesnt outdate the other cards, infact the 5870 six is what ATI used in their 24 monitor demo crossfired with 3 other 5870 sixes

according to what rodney says, the only difference is that the 5870 six has 6 mini display ports

i wouldnt buy it though. to me, it isnt worth it, i could just as easily crossfire a couple 5850s and have 6 monitor eyefinity
