i wanna get a cf setup running with a 4890 and a 5000Series is that possible?

is it gonna work?

iff checked the ati site and they say you need to cf the same series like 4XXXX with 4XXXX etc...

but can different series work together?

because thats somting that they don't say and i thought i read somting a longtime ago that the series doesnt need to be the same, but i cant verify it on any website/forum

I really won't recommend it. For the best performance, stability and compatibility go with the same GPU.
