Would this setup be ideal for gaming?

I am considering purchasing a mobo/CPU bundle costing £145 ($223) that consists of:

Asus P7H55-M SI Motherboard
Intel Core i3-530 2.93GHz Processor

Please give your thoughts/opinions on this, whether it's worth it or if could get better for a similar price, etc.

the I3 is kinda weak, and its only a duo core, but, when it comes to gaming, it's usually all down to the graphics card. If you were to get a GTX460, you would probably be fine.

Need more details to say anything. What setting u will use, what resolution , what Video card u will get and how much ram ? An a price-range for all.
