Will PCIe soundcard affect graphics card performance

MY mother board (gigabyte gama790xds4) has two pcie 16x, one 1x, and I think a 4x that is covered up by my video card.
Will putting a pcie-1x sound card affect my GTX 280 running at 16x? For starters the motheboard will support 16x for one card or two video cards at 8x.

No. Unless you are using a multiple GPU setup with a Crossfire/SLI bridge, each slot is independent from one another.

Ok good. I know they are ran independtly I just didn't know if the fact they had to share the same 16x bandwidth would hurt it. Thanks Razear.
