My Average MB/s is 168.5 steady between 150 and 200 mb. My highest spikes are 186 and lowest are 144. I have a Micro ATX EVGA x58 motherboard with an 920 i7 at standard settings cpu clocking at 2.8mhz, 12gb of DDR3 Dominator Ram at 1600mhz and 3 7200 rpm Hard drives with a partition of 1.72 gbs of Memory.

I maintain my systems of errors and virus scans daily, keep my place as dust free as can be. How bout you?

Other than a speed check to test the at the setup, I don't worry about it. Windows 7 should auto defragment.
