Would it be ok to STack Different Video cards? im tryin to build my first Gamers pc, and i dont wanna screw up a new gaming rig

Nope, you have to use multiple of the same video card. Like two gtx560's or three gtx570's. something like that, you know what I mean?
and you have to use an sli bridge with Nvidia cards and a crossfire bridge with ATI/AMD cards

Well first you need to make sure that your motherboard has an sli or crossfire feature, second is to make sure that the card or cards you'll be using will fit together. With nvidia you need to use the same model for you to be able to do an sli but in amd you can crossfire almost any cards together.

HOWEVER, if you are Crossfire linking different cards, every card will perform as the worst one you have. So if you throw a x2890, a x3880, and a x5950, everything will scale back to the slowest card in the chain. The x5950 would kill the Crossfire chain on it's own.
