While playing GTA 4 on a sapphire 5870 I got a maximum temperature of 78 degree Celsius and the fan was only at 58 % usage on automatic. WTF? Is that normal or there is something wrong ?
I got a Antec Sonata 3 case with cooling fan set to max.

Any thoughts ?

I'm not sure, but I think that 90*C is like the max, so you should be fine.

You can always rev up the fan speed manually if you like.

Yeah, the fan would be very noisy if it were always 100% while gaming.. 78°C is fine.
