Replacing 5.25" Drive bays for fans

Dear members of 3DGAMEMAN.com,
Is it actually possible to replace the dvd drive bays by installing fans as well? Take the Thermaltake Soprano for instances. I have 3 dvd bays left over.

Since 5.25" is approximately 133.35 millimeters, you could possibly mod the 5.25" bays to accept a 120mm fan, but you would probably want to give it some sort of dust filter.
