I would recommend the OCZ. It is pretty dependable and performance is nice. WD would also be ok. Make sure that whatever one you get it can do trim.

Get the OCZ agility 2.

I have the OCZ Agility 120GB and it performs WELL ABOVE spec. I got it on sale about 6 months ago and i would never look back to another drive for an OS.

OCZ also has great customer support and they actually listen to their customers on the forums.  Their firmware is very good too.

After a lot of thought i have decided to go with the G skill phoenix pro ssd.

well the low egg rating on the vertex 2 makes wonder if the agility 2 is reliable. Then again no one did a review on the g skill one.

will see how it goes.  I already placed in my order for a phoenix pro ssd because of the 50,000 iops. Would have gotten the vertex 2 but with only a 2 egg rating it seem to be not living up to spec.

well goodluck with that. I know in the past G.skill didnt have very good firmware. Hopefully thats changed now.

Let us know how it performs. Use programs like AS SSD and ATTO and post some pics :)

Ya that is good but OCZ vertex should outperform it with Trim easily enough.

I have the OCZ Vertex2 120Gig since 3 mouth and I dont have probleme with it. My PC is on 24/24 7/7 and my SSd have the OS on it. I got it 300$ from NICX.com special deal saved 100$. Great thing from OCZ is Wiper(trim) and now you have Sanitary erase that restard your SSD like when you take it off the box (brand new) and this dont change the firmeware 1.5. But you have to save your files on a other Hard drive. OCZ forum help me alot and easy also in many language. RMA is most of the time pretty quick like I can read. Overall OCZ is good compagnie for me. I talk about OCZ because I use it but maybe Corsair,Kingston have good to give I dont know.

Good luck
