is there a difference between two brands of ram both with ddr3 and 1600 in terms of performance?

Both kits appear to have the same frequencies and latencies so theoretically both should preform similarly.

The Corsair is faster with a timing of 9-9-9-24, as opposed to the Kingston memory which has a timing of 9-9-9-27.

However, the difference between the two in real world application would be minimum. So if you're on a budget go with the Kingston, otherwise get the Corsair.
