Hello. Recently i purchased a new motherboard "Biostar MCP6P3" . i checked their website and found out that this board supports only a certain range of ddr3 ram models(with certain serial numbers). Does it mean that if I get a supported brand ram but with a different serial number, then the ram won't work? And also the same applies to cpus too according to their charts . here is a link to the Mb and support list. Thanks in advance.

It doesn't mean it won't work. As long as the modules meet or exceed the recommended specs, it should work. Be sure to flash your BIOS to the latest revision as well.
