I am in need of a case that will be able to hold a large number of harddrives (currently 7, but if my data growth continues 15 in two years sounds reasonable). The most important thing about this case tho is that is must be quiet above all.

Currently i have been considering the Lian Li PC-343B, but since it is so difficult to find i was hoping that one of you guys could suggest a possible alternative. Some people have told me get the NORCO RPC-4020, but i hear it is quite loud so any feedback in that regard would be much appreciated :)

the only thing other than gaming full towers with 12 5.5" bays that i can find is rack mount trays that would sound like your walking into the control room of a dockside loading crane

I can't say i have ever walked into the control room of a dockside loading crane, but i would assume it to be quite loud so thanks for the heads up :P

the Hyper Cube YY is a definite contender, not really a huge fan of the lights but i'm sure they can be disabled

Fractal design R2.. Is the closest I can come to it, it got 10 3.5 inch and 2 5.25 drives. And it's quiet so it's great as a server.
