I've been having problems with my ram / motherboard.

Basically what happens is randomly my computer will beep when I try to turn it on. Basically the ram is no longer seated properly (it hasn't moved out of the socket, it hasn't been moved at all, it's the same as it has always been) and I have to re-seat it about 100 times before it will finally work. Usually I just re-seat my ram until it works, but now I am sick of this.

I want to buy a new component to fix this. What should I buy, new ram or a new motherboard?

I think you've got some issues with the DIMM slots not seating your RAM properly so it's a motherboard issue. If you're within warranty, try and get an RMA.

Oh! I didn't even realize that my motherboard has a 3 year warranty. Thank you, I'll be sure to send it in!

Just a quick side note - the little blue clip that clicks your video card into place broke off mine, do you think this will prevent me from RMA-ing it?

Depending on the manufacturer, I'd say no. Most are good enough to let little things like that slide, but contact them first about it.
