http://downloadmirror.intel.com/15319/eng/D845EPT2_D845EBG2_ProductGuide_English.pdf
look on the bottom of page 63
and here are the connector names i have going out of my front panel: EAR OUTR ; GND; MIC POW ; EAR RETL ; EAR RETR ; MIC IN ; EAR OUTL
I dotn think wiring it up incorrectly will cause any damage, so i believe you can just go nuts, wiring and check if it works. I have a little idea
My Guess:
EAR OUTR Goes to -> 5 AUD-FPOUT-R
EAR OUTL Goes to -> 9 AUD-FPOUT-L
GND Goes to -> 2 AUD-GND
EAR RETR Goes to -> 6 AUD-RET-R
EAR RETL Goes to -> 10 AUD-RET-L
MIC IN Goes to -> 1 AUD-MIC
MIC POW Goes to -> 3 AUD-MIC-BIAS
I've never heard of mobos failing because of wrong front panel connectors, so just try it out.
Thanks! It works
It actually makes sense now! It was a little bit tricky to get those connectors on the right pin but i got it working
