Need this Community's Thoughts on this.
I have a budget of around 2 Grand.
Plan to build a monster PC Hex-Core 8 gigs of Ram Thermaltake firo Or a Noctua NH-D14 Cooler
Asus Crossfire IV 890FX board
Haven't Decided on GPUs most likely 580's
What Im asking the Community here is what case should I get i want a roomy case so im thinking 800D from Corsair Case I have now is stuffed to the max so I want ROOM HEHE. Just Leave me Your thoughts.
Thomas "Oxide" Harris
LOL No one has any thoughts Maybe Im looking in the wrong forum
cause the answer doesnt really matter. buy a case big enough for all your shit, and buy one that you think looks good. problem solved. go to newegg or xoxide and look for full towers
anyway, you do seem to know what you are looking for, so there is not much to say.
the only thing you need to be carefull about is the length of the graphics cards. make sure they'll fit in the case you choose, although they should fit in most full tower cases i guess.
i didn't really get it if you have the 800D or want to get an 800D case.
A Cooler Master HAF X should provide plenty of space, looks much better than the 800D imho.
Even the Fractal Design Define XL seems like a good choice with plenty of room and comes with some sound absorbing material on the side panels, so it should be quiter than others.
Im not trying to sound like a douche or anything and no I dont have the 800D I've Seen the HAFX and was just wondering what you guys thought of the thousands of cases out there, Hadn't Seen that Fractal Design Define XL case Looks Roomy Thanks guys.
mid towers have better looking designs in my opinion but function is more important than form. i use a haf 932 and its very nice, i just wish the side panel window was bigger, and that the large fans were a more standard size
You do know you can't SLI on a 890FX right?
Cooler Master and Antec are my go-to manufacturers when I first put a build together. My experience with Tt cases is they can be rather heavy and a bit difficult to work in. I have never had issues (as far as working in the case goes) with a Cooler Master case.
Some of th cases that I liked and have used come from Lian-LI, COOLERMASTER & Antec.
Now obviously it all depends if you want to go massive (Full Tower) or Mid-Size tower for more gaming and possibly carry the case from one location to another.
The last case I bought was from Cooler Master.
Nice and awzome case.
