i have a lenovo s-10 that i got from a friend and it has linux and xp on it

i want to find a way to take linux off and only have xp, how can i go about doing so

also what would be some good free virus protection

Uninstall via disk? Is the HDD partitioned? Then you could re-format just the linnux part-if not your gonna need a cd to reinstall xp.

Why do you want to take linnux off? It doesn't slow down the computer or cause programs to have a lightweight OS in case windows crashes
