Is the jump from 955 to i5 750 worth the lost of dual 16x in SLI

Hello, i am wondering the bump in processing power of the i5 was worth the lost of dual 16x lanes in SLI when compared to 955BE that has dual 16x PCI-E instead of 8x PCI-E lanes.

955 and 750 are not that different. I would go for x58 if you want to avoid x8 and x8.

Yeah the jump would be pointless. Like undead said, if you want to upgrade get an X58 based system.
