i Have a current doubt is the i5 2500k lga 1155 better than the i7 920 lga 1366? for gaming and current tasks?

I5 2500k is a bit stronger than i7 920.

But if you allready have an i7 920 there is no need for an upgrade.

I agree. There is no need to upgrade. If your looking to upgrade, upgrade you gpu if it isn't already good enough. If it is a new system, your better off getting the i5 2500k.

i have the gtx 560 ti the i7 920 @3.6 6 gb ddr3 triple channel.

so theres no point to upgrade to the i5 2500K

There is no point to upgrade. It would be too much money spent for a negligible boost.
