Hard druve coolers/silencers

Do they work as well as advertised and if so are they a good accesory?

MY rig: Azza Solano 1000 case, Intel core i7-930, Nvidia gtx 260, 6gb Corsair Dominator Ram, GigaByte GA-EX58-UD4P mobo, Asetek 510lc water cooling.

things like these are a good accessory for cooling and silencing but arent really necessary

this one really does work as well as advertised though

Hmmm.. about all they can do is reduce vibration noise. A good case fan in the front is just as good at cooling. If you want to reduce drive noise get an SSD and a case with good airflow.

 

If you are like me it's really about the badass look of the cooler.. give a min to find one..lol
