( sry my english, I'm from norway ;)

These are the parts I've been looking into for my future gaming computer, to the cost of about 13 000 NOK ( 1 657 EUR / 2 078 USD I think ;) so, uh... ? I've been looking around and done some reaserch and everything, and got some really helpfull replies on my previous post.  But still, I'am kinda new at this. Though I do have my moments...

So I wonder, is this a good gaming pc ? and is there any hardware compatibility problems ? I'm looking for a computer that's not toooo expensive, but can still run hot games (like crysis, Mw2, bf:bc2, red faction: guerilla, just cause 2 ... ) maxed. Not sure about the whole Intel / AMD thing, but for now i stick with Intel.

please let me know what you guys think :)                                                                                                  in advance, thanx for any replies ;)

Seems like this build is now almost pefect-

1. 5870 CF is a fail-it stutters and is not needed unless you have 3 30 inch screens.

2.  Is the Corsair the same price as other ram modules of same speed? Typically it is overpriced but every once in a while you can find a good deal.

3. G19 is almost identical to a g15 but twice the price. I would check out the G15.

Thanx :) can't wait to get my hands on it   ;]

so with my 24'' that's a no go... saved mehself some cash there ;)

I looked into it and found the Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz 4GB CL7, with the same specs as the DHX+. It was about 100 NOK ( 12,5 EUR / 16 USD ) cheaper. But it wasn't as handsome as the Dominators 8-) So the extra 100 NOK ( 12,5 EUR / 16 USD ) is affordable.

Regarding the KB, I choose to go for the G110 instead. I figured I didn't need the display, so the G110 or G11 will do just fine :) The G15 and the G110 is about the same price, but i didn't like the design on the new G15 model. And i prefer blue back lighting.

Good decisions would go with the g11 over the 110 but that is personal preference.

And I was talking about other brands of ram out of corsair but between the two you just listed I would also go the dhx

I was browsing through various  CPU comparison articles, when suddenly i discovered this statement:

( i5 - 950 ) '' Memory support - DDR3 up to 1333 MHz ''

WTF ? Is this correct ?

Also, anybody know bout the true size of the 5870, and will fit in the Fanqua or not ?
