Hello Rodney Reynolds here! Just kidding :p
I would just like to know what you all think of this build. When new parts become available, I research them and add them into it if I see fit. I was posting this stuff on Yahoo Answers and I got like one answer. I plan to build this monster some time this year or build it as my own Christmas Gift to myself.

Just to let you know I intend to O/C my CPU to 4.5 Ghz, Memory from 1866 to 2000 Mhz, Graphics Cards to Core = 900 - 1000Mhz and Memory = 1000 - 1100 Mhz.
Lemme know, Can I do it.
I now need to know where I can find NB and SB coolers for the EVGA board because Koolance stopped selling them, more the reason why I went to ASUS, but I came back to EVGA beacause I was with them for over 5 years plus most of the people oc/ing had the same board I just put up. Thanks!
holy crap dude-that is gonna be reallllllllllllllllly expensive.
Everything should work fine.
No, as far as I am aware you can not transform an x4 slot into an x1 slot-they are kinda different sizes.....
4.6G? Good luck-that would take some serious work
What about monitors?
Man, you gotta take and post some pics if you actually build this.
I was thinking of posting it here and on YouTube. Monitors, I am thinking about 30" Dell monitor but I need a better one. I might probably get a 32" Samsung LCD 1080P TV. Note I have a PS3 and Xbox 360 build as well. This is not a place to put it but it has 17 PS3 games 17 Xbox 360 games 512GB SSD for ps3 bla bla bla. I am going to do all of that in my new room. Nice King Sized bed mounted or probably put them on some kind of table or some crap 7.1 speakers. lol. Wall mounted 3D LED HDTV from Samsung. I wonder where to put my 5.1 speakers, maybe table mount them as well lol. Any good Monitors can u post a link to here for me plz. Thank you
That's the way to do it :)
Alot is down to personal taste but i really like Logitech.
I would go for the:
SAPPHIRE HD5970 2GB GDDR5 PCIE (OC Edition)
Note: but im not shure whit the monitor you are going for.. Pleas do some research. Also note that the "Dell UltraSharp 3008WFP 30-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor" only has (8ms) response time.. (i have 2ms..) on my ASUS VK266H 25.5 inch.
Intel Core i7-980X processor Extreme Edition.. my choice to :O)
Corsair Dominator 6GB (3 x 2GB) 1600 MHz DDR3.. why not 12GB?
ASUS Rampage III Extreme.. bad experiences with ASUS X58 bords, problems with memory latencies :/
I realy dont know abote the tuner and sound card setup.. sorry
Relax, take it easy on the OC.. you dont want to kill it.. take care :)
Corsair Dominator 6GB (3 x 2GB) 1600 MHz DDR3 (2) = 12GB
I heard somewhere the EVGA board was SLI only, plus the southbridge and northbridge get extremely hot. I read someehere, infact I saw a youtube video of a man with a 4.6HZ oc/d, playing Crysis, CODMW2, BBC2 and DiRT2 getting over 100fps in all and when he looked at the sky in CODMW2, he got like 500-600fps. I am going to do 4.5 GHz now but if I can I will do 4.6. The whole system is watercooled so don't worry. I have seen men running 4 GHz on Stock Cooling with about 50-60 degrees Celsius. I am doing the tuner in x8, sound card in x4 and Killer 2100 in x16. I said that I was probably going to buy a Samsung 32". I will post the links to the LCD, 4.6 Ghz video, EVGA board and 4.5 Ghz video. Me overclocking will depend on the temps of course, that is why I set a target but I am not sure if I will hit that. I intend to keep my CPU below 40 degrees Celsius, northbridge below 30, memory below 30 and GPU below 40. So I don't expect to go that high, I just want to.

Talk to the boys on: http://www.trubritarforums.com/forum/
about the OC, they migth be able to give you some firsthand tips. Personally i don't like to take any of my systems that far for any exstended period of time..
Fraps: you're eyes can't detect more than 60 to 80 frames.
Im running BBC2 in 1920X1200 with 55 to 65 frames, all settings maxd. To me thats a great frame rate.
A machine controls all the CPUs, GPUs, MOBOs.. and specially-written test programs are played (with expected results). The clock and voltage are increased until the point of failure, and this determines which bin it makes, but all components are unique in its own. So all the components combined will make for different results in OC!
What worries me about youre OC is that you may get hot spots on the board (southbridge and northbridge) so you need to cool the MOBO with some extra Air Cooling aswell.
The LG 32LD550 alredy has a Built-In Tuner ATSC/NTSC/Clear QAM..
PS: Asus probe is great, it saved my system :)
I don't think you understand water cooling capabilities-
"4.5-4.6G at 40C"
Never going to happen unless you got one heck of a cooler-$1000+
More likely 60C-80C would be great.
Don't be afraid till it hits 80C. That is how you get high OC's.
I would get a 50" Samsung 1080P Plasma with web capabilities.
Yeah undead you are right. I was mostly an air cooling guy, I am stilla noob to water cooling. The Thermaltake Case has a built in LCS. I Think it is the BigWater 760i. Reading up lately, I might just keep it at 4.0-4.2 Ghz. I usually have my AC running alot so the ambient temperature is usually between 23-29 degrees Celsius. Fizzy, by built in tuner do you mean that my TV Tuner card wouldn't be necessary. I don't think it comes with any sort of software, so how will I be able to watch and broadcast television to JTV, Veetle and such? Not PPV's by the way. Fizzy I know that, there is a term you can use to describe insane fps. Bragging Rights. Stupid but ehh! I want my system to last about 5 years max before I need to upgrade, I will upgrade in between of course. I had an air cooled PC when I was younger, I overclocked the CPU (Single Core AMD 3200+) from 2.0 to 2.35 Ghz using a 120mm fan and a heatsink. I got around 45-50 degrees Celsius. The reason it stopped working was because it was old. 6 years. Funny thing is, the WD HDD in it still works up to this day, or at least the last time I tried, I put it in my attic along with some other stuff. I am scared to go in there though, I am frightened of the spiders and stuff, plus it is dark and you will need a flash light. God knows what is up in there.
I dont like the phrase overkill, if you are going all the way thats just cool, i would love to do some test on that Intel Core i7-980X myself.. It will make a big difference on youre OC in comparison to my 920.
jepp i did mean that youre TV Tuner card wouldn't be necessary, but to be sure you need to do some reading on that topic.
