Computer kicks on then dies...

Hit the power and he fans spin for a second and stop...I jumped the bios to clear it, pulled the battery and disconnected excess parts like hard drives and pulled memory sticks...what else can I do???? This happened before but I can't remember what I did to fix it

It is usually a problem with the RAM in most cases.

Try each stick independently in various slots. Try a different PSU, reconnect everything. Make sure your board is not shorted with any metal. Make sure the graphics card is stitted properly.

BTW, just my personal opinion, but I really think that your avatar is commically inapproriate and disrespectful, especially after last summer.

8 pin plugged into the mobo?

Put the jumper pin back in the wrong position?

Motherboard battery is weak?

Ground short?

Reseat CPU and memory.
