I need advice on a great gaming computer build for a budget of 800-1000$. I really do not know what to look for in a good gaming computer so i could use some help.
DDR 3 8gigs of RAM wanted
1TB hard drive
no preferences other than those things
not even a little help >>?
could someone just tell me what a good mother board for gaming is? I could probably build one by myself if I had that...
amd or intel?
I'd go with an Intel i5 build, base everything around that. I wish I had more time to list all the parts for folks, but I don't. I will say this... Think EVGA, Asus or Gigabyte for your motherboard, Crucial for memory, WD for HDD and go from there.
I'm thinking if you are talking about spending a fair chunk of money on a gaming pc you probably need to go and do some research online. The different choices and combinations of parts out there are huge. There are a lot of videos on youtube and techsites about this sort of stuff so best start there.
People will be able to answer specific questions though once you have an idea what you want to go for.
Good luck and have fun with it!

its a super fast drive that uses chips instead of a spining disk also more pricey
and if you get a z68 (chipset) you can use it as a cashe and make the hdd FASTER
and get and if you only using a hdd get the caviar black :)
thanks for the suggestion but to keep the cost down I don't think I can get much more extra stuff that isn't needed.
So I have once again editted my build. So any suggestions from anyone?
