i5 750 its cheaper than the i7 920 and you have more or less the same performance at a lower power usage

dont buy P55 boar because new LGA1155 coming out end off this year and when new socket is out there are no new cpus coming in LGA1156 socket.

LGA1156 was fail.

Asus Maximus IV Extreme // Intel 2500K@2600K + NH-D14 // Kingston HyperX 8GB 1600 // Asus GeForce GTX580 SLI // Corsair HX850 // Corsair Graphite 600T // and more... *Enthusiast Overclocker & Gamer*

1156 was not a fail...it has been around for 2 years and by the time 1155 comes out it will be almost 3 years old.
The i5 750+a good EVGA 1156 made for a power combination and great bang/buck. An upper i5 will outclass a Phenom II on most tasks without costing too much more and own it in a few things.
The 6 core AMD is far more of a fail than 1155
AM4 is coming out soon too which gives the six core a lot less lifespan than 1156 unless of course you want to cut your HTB in half and deal with other issues.
