I know I know, the 2600k is overkill for the games out now but when I update my system, I get as good as I can at the time and then not upgrade for about 5 years.

I've seen reviews where people have suggested the Asus P8P67 PRO or the Asrock z68 extreme 4...Whats everyone's advice!

Thanks!

When it comes to overclocking potential, the difference between motherboards isn't very significant. What you should choose should depend on the feature set on each board. That being said, I would lean towards the ASUS board although I believe ASRock is an ASUS subsidiary.

wow is it me or does it seem like ALOT of the 1155 boards from different companies are bugie?
I've always enjoyed buying a giga or an Asus and know it won't have problems but still

I tend to stick with a few mobo brands, Asus, Gigabyte and EVGA.

I generally stick with Giga but I guess when the 2600k first came out, there was a huge issue with the 1155 chipset that Intel had to do a huge recall
