6950 1GB in Crossfire with 6950 2GB? Possible?

I have a Gigabyte HD6950 1GB "OC Edition" tripple fan video card, and i was wondering if I could run it in Crossfire with a 6950 2GB card? My card is the same length as the 2GB card, but mine is missing the BIOS switch and 1GB of video memory. There is still a soldering point for the BIOS switch though...

Yes it is possible, but preformance will be bottlenecked by the 1GB card.
