Do you have an old revision of the Xbox 360? Microsoft sells a wireless-N adapter. I am not sure that a standard USB networking adapter will work as Microsoft may have blocked third-party networking hardware.

If the answer to the first question is no, then you should be able to connect your Xbox 360 to your network without any additional hardware, as it includes an internal wireless adapter. That being said, it unfortunately only supports 2.4 GHz bands.

Trenched will be releasing a 450mb/s version of this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833156307&cm_re=trendnet_bridge-_-33-156-307-_-Product later this year. The 300mb/s version is great.
