Worth buying? Yes? No? I know it started out crappy, but has it gotten any better?

I bought it and was extremely disappointed with it. Be aware that this is not a game you can play while disconnected from the internet. It is online only. If the servers go down, you will not be playing it.

If you want to be able to play with a similar (and imho better) experience, look instead at Cities XL Platinum.

Cheers!

Actually, it was determined that the game does run locally, but won't start unless you are on-line. There are a couple hacks out there that will fool the launcher into running off-line. The only caveat is that you can't save games without being on-line.

the online thing doesn't really bother me. I just heard it was poorly done.

I purchased legal key of the game online at Instant Gaming at a great deal. To buy the key online visit official website.

There were so many complaints over the online thing mostly because their servers were crap and you couldn't even connect to play the game.
Other than that and a couple other minor stuff, it's not a bad game, I like it. I have not tried any similar games like Cities XL Platinum though, so I have nothing to compare it to.

I have tried a few times to play.. gets boring much too fast. That cities something game (I forget) does look good - but its low on the "list" right now

Wish Me Luck :D

is there a program/hack/mod that can make it so ANY game you choose will stay in full screen
but still give you the ability to use other monitors?

i was thinking about something like a program that pins the game to top?
