As many of you probably know, Sony's PlayStation Network has been down for quite some time. Well, there is good news! Within the last few hours, Sony has restored the network fully within the United States. This includes access to their music service, video-based services, and online multiplayer. According to their blog post, you will be required to download a system update that will invalidate your old password and ask that you input a new one. For more information, see the announcement video.
Wow, that took forever.
Did they say anything about hacked accounts on SOE, as in were any credit card numbers taken?
No. In a new development, however, it appears that the PSN is down again. Yes, you read that correctly! It is down again after being up for a short while.
