After the award-winning game Dragon Age : Origins, Bioware created another RPG game. A sequel to the first game, Mass Effect 2 has already dominated other games.

So, are you going to buy this game?

I bought it when it was released and I love it. I play about 2 - 3 hours a night before I go to bed. Everything is an improvement over the first one except for maybe some RPG elements, which is fine. If you want a hardcore RPG, go out and purchase Dragon Age.

Alright, guess I'll try this game out. I had Dragon Age : Origins but I really didn't play it much. Its a long game. I'm not a hardcore RPG gamer, I'm more to the FPS side. BTW, had you finished DA:O?

I have not finished DA:O, I plan to when I tire of Mass Effect. However, I can confidently say that I enjoy ME2 a whole lot better.

These RPG games just take forever to finish. I had to admit, these games are sometimes hard to understand. I had to choose the right stats carefully.

I think Dragon Age is over the 100 hour mark but Mass Effect 2 is only around 30 or 40 hours, so it takes considerably less time than other BioWare RPG's.

The game was ok. There were a few glitches that killed the gameplay in some areas. Such as Rockets being fired by a boss through the walls. Bioware removed alot of the rpg elements from the game and replaced it with a Gears of War knock off with a few rpg elements and references to Star Trek, Star Wars, Terminator, Zelda, and Jesus. As well as made a linear "open" game and made it even linear.

Hello,

DA:O was an outstanding game. Not only is the original game
play Intense, with a good storyline. ( I often found myself thinking about the storyline while trying to sleep or at school) There is also Custom content to download with custom missions etc. The expansion is on its way, Ill be getting that ASAP. So If you haven't played DA:O yet, I highly suggest you play it!

As far as the Mass Effect series goes, once again an outstanding story line that kept me hooked. I didn't want to stop playing... that could be good or bad. =P I got my moneys worth out of Mass Effect 1. I played every class, I love the game. The other great part about Mass Effect is that what you do in the first game carries over to the second Mass Effect! This left me wanting to redo some things in Mass Effect 1. Mass Effect 2 is awesome though, I beat it as one class so far, I'm just about to play right now with a new character =). Buy and Play Both these series, you won't regret it!
