Hi Rodney I been watching all your q and a's now its time to help me :P

So I have stopped console gaming and went right into building my first PC and into PC gaming. I am playing the Call of Duty Series Games. I would like to play Far Cry/Crysis/Unreal and Fall Out New vegas.

My Pc Currently is a Haf 922 Tower/P5N-D motherboard/Intel E6600 3.07GHZ/Corsair H50 CPU Cooler/2x2 G-skill 800MHZ Ram/1TB Hitachi HDD and 2 EVGA 9500 GT's in SLI..

IT Does not seem to work well. I am working on my internet connection but I think I need to change out the GPU's Or is 2 9500Gt's good enough for my Games? I was thinking Maybe a GTX260? or two?

Basically is slow in gaming even fellow players are saying i am slowing them down and currently I just need the graphics are not as they could be? I seem to Hit With furmark a 3d Score of 975.. FPS is like 16?
Is this even good? I am running Windows 7 32 bit.

I Also plan on putting in a WD Raptor Drive soon..

HELP :)

The 9500GTs aren't great gaming cards, two 260s would definitely be better but nowadays have a look at the GTX 460s or HD5770s, those are the "new" affordable gaming cards.

But you said you experience a lot of lag in online gaming and that would be the network connection. Try speedtest.net to see how your own connection is doing or try a different server?

4GB RAM is enough I'd say, but you can perhaps upgrade that dualcore to a socket 775 quad (so you don't have to get a new board), or overclocking your dualcore may improve a lot.

Thanks for the reply. I have researched going to go with the GTX 460 1 for now. Also going to pick up a second in the future. Picking this card up next week. This week I upgraded to a corsair H50 cooler added a Sentry 2 fan controller. And I am looking in a quad core processor.

anyone who the best processor that fits my board P5N-D Has socket 775 looking for a gaming based quad core for the best price. If anyone has a tip.

Thanks for the reply though! I am taking your advice!
