Just a few from this morning:

A juvenile Cardinal

A red Crepe Myrtle

Some Black-Eyed Susans?

And hidden behind the greenhouse in the morning dew...

I decided to finally try out infrared with my K10D. It requires very long exposures, but I am better at focusing in IR with it than with my G2. Overall, I don't think this was too bad for a first try. :)

It does great macros shots, but you have to get a little close.
Try using a teleconverter on it. It will give you twice the reach yet still function as a macro.

I recently bought myself a Nikon D60, I am still trying to figure it out manually, but its an awesome camera when done right!

Some pictures I took:

The Hindu Temple located on 427 and Finch Ave. I've never seen it in person, so I thought I'd stop by and get a shot of it! I'm impressed to be honest! however, I am disappointed at it's size.

One early morning on Lakeshore.

Oh, Empty_Quarter, what lens(es) are you using for those shots? I've been looking at the D60 for some time now and I'm considering buying it sometime soon. I just don't know what lens(es) are necessary for me to have.

Heya Nilzxx, I have the stock 18-55 VR lens only as of yet. I do intend on getting new lenses soon, however, I haven't decided which.

The stock lens is fine and is good for everyday shots, but lacks in the zoom department big time, however that's to be expected. I am looking into getting a lens with a slightly larger zoom to replace it, probably the 18-105 VR lens that comes stock with the D90. Other than that, a wide angle lens is catching my interest, but damn they are not exactly cheap...

I would think that the D60 body + 18-105 VR would make a fantastic combo, a flexible lens suitable for most scenarios.

You take some awesome shots btw!

import2ner, is that Hong Kong or Shanghai? Oh yeah, and pls resize :) Looks like Hong Kong because of the mountain?
