Hey, I know this is completely out of left field but does any one on here know of a good, cheap, site for 49cc motor bike kits, I'm gonna buy one with in the next few weeks and I'm trying to find the cheapest kit, I know, not the greatest thing to do ever but I don't really have the choice, I'm in the USA, so yeah, the cheapest I've found so far was 152.99 with free shipping for a 2-stroke 48-49cc motor bike kit on Ebay,

Or if any one knows of a 49cc 4-stroke motor bike it under $200 with shipping, I'd love a link.

I'll attempt some pictures when I get every thing together and post em here too.

Thanks!

Found this 2-stroke 49cc through Scooter Parts Unlimited, around $120 shipped.

My brother used them to rebuild a Yamaha 180cc engine, everything he got from them was excellent quality.

Would you prefer 2-stroke or 4-stroke? I'd recommend 4-stroke myself just due to the lower exhaust smoke, but sadly price jumps radically for those pump-lubed designs.

Looking like the best I can find is a 50cc 4-stroke for around $300, out of your price range. For 4-stroke you may have to go used.

Best of luck!

Thanks, yeah I'd love to go 4-stroke but the cost is just way to high I've found, I'm on very limited income and I can't afford to dish out 300 for one and I need the set, not just the motor,

I do not have the tools to cut metal of any kind or drill holes, in anther words, I can't afford mechanically knowledgeable to do what would be needed to come up with my own mounting... Things to do a sort of home made kit, I do have a drill and drill bits as well as what'll bee needed to tighten the nuts and so on but pass that the kit can't require more then that, hints why I'm looking for a kit, I've watched quite a few videos on how to install the kit but non that shows how to create your own.

Later I'll be able to afford the 4-stroke but that's many months from now and I've already waited longer then I'd like to of, here is a link to the kit I'll probably be getting in a week or so,

I do have another choice, though cost a little more but I honestly don't know if its worth the added $47, would any one here know if it is?

It seems to of sold more, maybe its a newer motor?

Between the two, I actually like the first (cheaper) one. Maybe less pretty, but essentially the same level of power and it comes with lots of do-dads you may need. The seller gets good feedback, too.

If this is something that you will be using regularly, be aware of local ordinances.
