I built a custom gaming pc about 5 months ago and now want to sell it to buy a laptop for college. How much should I sell it for? it is in perfect working condition. Here are the specs:
Case: Antec 1200 with added 120mm side window fan
PSU: Coolermaster 1100w ultimate
Motherboard: EVGA X58 Tri-Sli
CPU: Intel i7 920
CPU cooler: Coolermaster Hyper n-520 with arctic 5 thermal compound
Video card: EVGA gtx 260 core 216
RAM: 6GB DDR3 1600 G Skill
Hard Drive: WD 640GB 7200RPM
Optical Drive: Plextor DVD RW/ CD RW with a bunch of other stuff
Fan Controller: NZXT sentry lx
Operating system: Brand new installation of windows 7 home premium 64 bit
This will also include a 23 inch gateway 1080p monitor, a saitek LED backlit keyboard, and a logitech wireless laser mouse. The current price is $1600 for everything and is posted on craigslist. I'm not getting any hits so far, but any suggestions on the price? too high? By the way if your interested send me an email. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
1 dollar :P
Seems like a fair price to me.
I love when people ask me that kind of information. Seriously, add up the cost of each part and ask for that amount because the people that contact you will probably want to talk you down in price anyway, so there is no point is trying to figure out a low dollar amount and undercut yourself.
try kijiji. and the price i would say around $1000 and end at $900
always better to sell each peice individually sometimes. yea its an annoyance to ship each part but just jack the shipping up.
Yeah, eBay those parts individually and you can get the most out of the value. (Overcharge shipping/HANDLEING like everyone else does!)
I'd first see what your computer is selling for on ebay unless it's custom made add up the parts go back to ebay see what they go for and take off a hundred bucks and start there if it's cost was near 1k, i built a custom comp buying parts from some cpa programs and getting discounts anyplace i could for them.
I would agree with the 900 to 1000
ied say 1200-1300
Nice rig, why to sell..?
1200-1300 sounds pretty good.
yeah try 1000-1200
since computers depreciate fast
better sell it cheap or soon it will be
more cheaper
or trade it with a laptop and ask them
for extra cash :)
hopes this helps
